Elliott Hall for Youth & Community (CIC) was opened in 2017 on Albion Street within the community of South Wigston,Leicester for the local community.
South Wigston community hub is located within the borough of Oadby & Wigston which is located 6 miles of Leicester city centre.
The building has had variety of uses since being built in 1930's, it was initially used by British Telecom, Yel.com, followed by the famous Triumph Needles who are still trading today within Leicestershire.
Elliott Hall for Youth & Community (CIC) has been refurbished and modernised offering different sized rooms which are available to hire. These rooms are ideal for various of occasions, including children's parties, conferences, meetings, wakes, community groups/clubs etc.
Elliott Hall for Youth & Community (CIC) operates a variety of different activities for all ages & abilities. We offer support with health & well-being, isolcation, health & exercise & mental health including other drop in support groups.
We are registered as a safe & warm haven, where anyone can drop in, have chat & cuppa & take part in an activity or come, relax & read a book in the warmth in our cosy nook.
Elliott Hall is also the Boroughs Health Bank & home to the Pantry Nook supporting those in need, if you need support please get in contact.

Food Pantry & Hygiene Bank

Our community pantry has been set up to help to address the issue of food and money poverty in our community of South Wigston within the borough of Oadby & Wigston. In particular our pantry focuses on affordability and access.

The pantry is not just about providing help at the point of crisis, but instead offer a more sustainable solution & support.

The Pantry Nook aims to provide a medium to long term solution to help individuals & families facing food insecurity. We will assist people to engage with ours & other services that resolve the underlying causes of their individual situations.

Safe & Warm Haven

Elliott Hall will be opening its doors as part of the boroughs warm haven project to the local community by offering a safe warm location to come and sit, enjoy hot drink for free either in Cosy Nook or by joining one of the following warm space groups:
(All Groups £3.00 include hot drinks)

Mondays 9am-1pm Breakfast Club £4
Tuesday 9am-1pm Craft & Cake
Wednesday 1pm-4.3pm Men's Over 50
Thursday 10am-1pm Free Soup & Roll
Thursday 1.30pm-4.30pm Craft & Cake
Friday 10am-11am Seated Exercise & Tea
Saturday 9am-2pm- Sugar Nook, Bacon or Sausage Cob & Hot Drink £3.00
